How do I change the size of stuff on my screen?

On my monitor for the computer, everything is a little bigger than it is supposed to be, like icons and pages and everything. How can I change it to normal?How do I change the size of stuff on my screen?
In order to change the resolution of your Monitor;

Right Click on your desktop

Select ';Properties';

Go to the ';Settings'; Tab

Using the Slider Bar Located half way down the window labeled ';Screen Resolution'; and slide it from ';Less'; to ';More'; knowing that Less means Bigger and More means Smaller. (800x600=Huge) %26amp; (1200x1600=Tiny).

Click ';Apply'; and preview your new Resolution.



If your Icons are still too large make sure under the ';Appearance'; Tab in ';Advanced'; Menu that under the item drop-down menu, select ';Icon'; and change the ';Size'; Value to 35 or smaller.

Right click on desktop, click Properties. Go to Settings tab and change the screen resolution to something a bit bigger =)
There's a setting for this in the control panel. I believe it's under apparence.
