I have already changed the screen size to the smallest setting but the darn icons on the desktop are way too big! Is there any way to make them smaller? Thanks! How can I change the size of desktop icons on Vista?
I dont know if Vista would be any different, cause Ive never used it, but I imagine the properties setting wouldnt be much different. On the desktop, right click, Properties, Appearance, Advanced, go to the scroll bar, select icons, it should let you change it. Or try this.....under Properties, Settings, Advanced, select DPI and choose Custom, either type in numbers, or slide the ruler icon. If that doesnt work, there are numerous icon programs, like Microangelo studios. Look around on the net, like mininova.org(thats where i go, it's awesome). So, yeah, its definitely possible. Thats is unless vista is just so different that there absolutely no way, which I severely doubt. hope this helps...good luck!!How can I change the size of desktop icons on Vista?
No, you can't change the size. Cause that size, it's the oringinal one.
go back to windows xp or get a mac
You can either right click the desktop then veiw and you have a few choices there. Or if you have a scroll wheel on your mouse, hold down CTRL and scroll the wheel up or down.
Hope this helps, I just learned it too.
