Ok I went to the Display Configuration and the highest it will go is 1152x720. But my monitor can go up to 1440x900. My monitor is a HP 19'; 60HzHow do I change the screen size on Linux Mint?
You have to make sure you have the right driver for your graphics card. You did not say which graphics card you have nor which graphics driver you are using.
the lspci command will give info about your graphics card.
Check you main menu for ';hardware drivers manager' under probably the settings item. It will tell you if you are using the best driver and which driver you are using.
Good luck
