How do I change the size of the screen?

My screen size is large and its hard to see everything without having to use the arrow keys on the side and below. Also another question...why do I keep getting a pop-up that says I need to get a regisrty cleaner? Is this just an ad or is my computer in trouble? Is there a site for free to stop pop-ups?How do I change the size of the screen?
You first need to go to your desktop area, then right click and go to Properties. From there you can click 'Settings' and then use the slider-bar to adjust your screen size.



That pop-up is probably some adware left on your PC, or worse. You can download the free Yahoo Tool bar that will stop those pop-ups, get it here: http://toolbar.yahoo.com/



Also, you might want to run a free virus, spyware and adware program to make sure your PC has no viruses or spyware on it.

First of all, the size of everything on your screen is called the 'resolution'. To change the resolution, simply right click on your desktop, and select properties. Then click the settings tab, and look for a slider. The higher the resolution, the smaller things on the screen are.

In reply to the pop-up situation, there are a few free spyware scanners available to you. Two of which happen to be 'Spybot - Search %26amp; Destroy', another is called 'Ad-Aware'.
