Changing the screen size in Itunes / removing the libary bar?

When trying to register my itouch through itunes the program thinks the screen size is larger than my actual screen size and i cannot see/acess the register now butten (there isn't a scroll bar down the bottem of the page like there is down the right hand side), i have already attempted to play with the size of the page but it wont allow me to make it any wider than it is and reducing the size doesn't produce a scroll bar.

I think being able to remove the libary bar at the left hand side should do it but im not sure how to remove / then replace it.

any help would be greatly apreaciated

You can make that column narrower (to a point) but you can't turn it off. You might try (temporarily at least) increasing your screen resolution to make things smaller on the screen. More and more programs are designed for higher resolution (the old standard used to be 800 x 600, now it's more often 1024x768). It may be difficult for you to read stuff that small on your screen (particularly if you have a small monitor), but you may be able to manage long enough to do what you need to do, and then set it back.

How to do it depends on what you're using: in Windows XP, for example, right-click on the Desktop, click Properties, click Settings tab, drag resolution slider a notch or two to the right, click OK. Repeat the steps later, dragging the slider to the left to restore your resolution to what you have now. In Mac OS X, open System Preferences, click Displays, and pick a higher resolution than you're currently using.
