How to change the screen resolution according to the monitor size?

pls help meHow to change the screen resolution according to the monitor size?
every monitor size has a native resolution like

15 inch LCD has 1024x768 which is the best resolution for a LCD monitor of this size. know your monitor's size and the native resolution and then keep that resolution. normally if you have all your graphics adapters at the right place then its done automatically.

to change monitor size in

xp- right click on an empty space on desktop and then click settings and then change it.

in vista right click on desltop and then customize and then settings and then change itHow to change the screen resolution according to the monitor size?
If you update your driver for the graphics adapter, the driver will automatically choose the largest compatible size. If not, you can check display properties.

In XP: Right-Click a blank portion of the desktop, and go to properties.

In Vista: You need to go to the control panel, and click/double click the control panel named to display.

After that, go to the advanced tab and choose your resolution. Some resolutions may force a lower color depth (IE: 16-bit) so be wary.
Simply right-click on your desktop, Properties-Settings and adjust your screen resolution. You can even choose to hide modes that your monitor does not display so it will become easy for you. Right Click-Properties-Settings-Advanced-Monit鈥?and check the box that says Hide Modes that my Monitor cannot display. and also you can keep your screen refresh rate maximized so that you can get the best viewing quality. http://www.gamerzplan8.blogspot.com
