How do i change the screen settings so that i can view properly ?

i have an old ibm thinkpad and since I took off windows xp and reinstalled windows 98 it wont allow me to change the screen size so all the text and icons are large and blurry and pages on the net are so large i cannot view all of it. i tryed to change through display settings but it wont let meHow do i change the screen settings so that i can view properly ?

Try changing adapter and see if it works
