How to change the size of computer screen.??!!!?

okay, so my computer screen is HUGE!!!! it's sooo annoying. i tried the zoom thing on the internet page, but that didn't effect the actual screen. help please! :)How to change the size of computer screen.??!!!?
By size of the computer screen, you probably mean the resolution.



If you are running Windows:

Right click on the desktop - an open space

Click properties on the next thing that pops up - or ';Personalize'; if you're using Vista or 7

Click on the ';Display Settings'; tab on the stop (or click the link labeled this in Vista/7)

Now, drag that bar to the right as much as you like, click apply and then see if you like it

The bar is next to the ';Low'; / ';High'; labels underneath ';Resolution';How to change the size of computer screen.??!!!?
there is a resolution tool that i have just click on it in the system tray once you have run it and choose your resolution.

RIGHT click anywhere on the desktop. A menu will pop up. Click on PROPERTIES and you will see a SETTINGS tab. Click on it. In the SETTINGS menu you will see a Set Resolution slider. Yours is probably set to LOW. Move the slider to the right to 1280 by 768 pixels. Click on Apply to see if that changes the screen size to your liking. If not go th the HIGH setting and see if that is better.



Of Course, Windows Vista is different. In Vista, RIGHT click anywhere on the desktop and click on PERSONALIZE at the bottom of the screen. In the screen that pops up click on DISPLAY SETTINGS at the bottom of the screen. You will see a RESOLUTION slider. Move the slider from the left to right to adjust the screen size.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who had this problem. In the bottom right of the screen you will find a magnifying glass icon with a plus sign in the glass, beside it is the percentage that you are viewing the screen. Mine was at 150%, by clicking on the drop-down arrow, I selected 100%. Now my screen is back to it's normal size.
